MicroblogMondays: Going Home Today

Bunny and Okra were discharged from the hospital yesterday.  We spent a night in the hotel all by ourselves.  All I can say is that we are utterly in love with our babies, and are so so sleep deprived already. Haha.  We are leaving town to fly home today.  Hopefully all the supplies we have are enough for the short two-hour flight and the babies are going to cooperate.  I can’t wait to begin home life with them.  I know some of you have asked about pictures of the twins.  I am still debating whether or not to show their faces.  In the mean time, while I am deciding, enjoy the far-away view of them:

I still can’t believe how blessed we are that we get to take our babies home.

Will write more when I have some more sleep.  🙂

  1. Congratulations!!!!!!
So in love ! With pictures or not! I’ve been on cloud 9 every time I’ve thought of you since Friday morning! Many prayers were sent your way! I teared up telling my hubby while I made our dinner Friday night. Your story was quite similar with ours, in all its twists and turns. And I’m just so thrilled you persevered on, as many can’t or don’t! And now you get to experience all the wild and truly magnificent moments to come!
    My heart over flows!
    Well done Momma Bear!
    Happy and safe travels home!

  3. Congratulations again! I’ll be looking forward to your next post in 6-12 months when you get more sleep. 😉 But seriously, I can’t wait to see any pictures or updates. These days go by so incredibly fast, even though the minutes drag by when you’re utterly worn out.
